I have been prone to these since I started working in the food industry. They used to be about waiting tables. I would have the entire restaurant as my section, and there were 1000s of reasons I couldn't get to a single table. If I did get a table, I would write down the order and not be able to read my hand writing when punching it in, and then I would try to remember, and not be able to and then mark would fire me. Never Wyatt, he was way too nice, and was definitely the "good cop" of that duo.
Recently they have moved to slightly odd trader joe's dreams. I once dreamt that I drank my captains water because i was so thristy. He caught me in the act and i just kept drinking. It was the second time it had happened, and we were going to have to talk about it. I woke up incredibly dehydrated and told my captain the story. He found it very amusing, and told me that i were ever that thirsty his water was mine for the drinking.
I have, of course, also been having wedding anxiety dreams. I started having them even before I was engaged. I would show up to my wedding no having showered wearing pajamas and eventually would call the whole thing off. They progress as the planning process progresses (lots of p's in that sentance). Last night at my wedding (remember, this is in la la land) there were a lot of problems. 1st off, there were 2 other couples getting married in our ceremony location. Then, my flowers were dead, or at least dying, and rather than be a bridal bouquet, they were more like a "you just won the kentuky derby bouquet" you know? A big thing that rests in your arms and weighs as much as two 6 month old children? it was really ugly. Then, of course, we didn't have an officiant, because we still haven't booked one.
I know that this probably bothers people, but we don't want a religous wedding. God doesn't play a very big part in our everyday lifes, and therefore, we really dont' feel the need to have him play a big part in our wedding. Oorrrr, a part at all. So we want a judge, and we dont' want to pay the guy that does civil ceremony's and seems super cool $700! to perform OUR ceremony Anyone know any good hennepin county judges? Where is mindy? I loved Mindy's judge. Where is he?
Also, I didn't have any lipstick. I was very upset that I wouldn't be wearing lipstick on her wedding day. Yes, I am that much of a damn girl that I was freaking out that I didn't have any lipstick on my freaking wedding day.
In ther news I started contacting dj services. I would love any and all recommendations out there. I have contacted bellagala and Instant Request (the latter of whom has won with lowest bid, but I imagine I can get bellagala to lower their price if i tell them instant request was lower than them). The problem is, we like very very very esoteric music. Okay, maybe just very esoteric, no need for the "very" emphasis. But there are a lot of songs that we are really going to want to have played. And honestly, as much as anyone says "you can bring a cd on your wedding day to the dj" i don't REALLY think my head is going to be in the place where I want to be thinking about bringing a cd to my reception. Yes that is what sara (personal attendant, yep, i'm a snob, but she is kyle's sister in law and I love her, and she gets things DONE!) is there for. But I don't want anything to get screwed up. Like the cd's we give them don't work, or they forget to play certain songs, or we mess up the play list order. Whatever. I'm going to try and get a few more bids and we'll see what happens.
