wed crap update
Some things that got done this weekend regarding the wedding (and some that don't regard the wedding at all) in no particular order except that of my train of thought.
Attended Erin's wedding, which included an hour long catholic mass in 90 degree heat. Fun times. The reception was very much fun, the food good, and the company better.
bought 2 Adirondack chairs, a turn table, a cool lamp, and a painting from a garage sale for $54 total. Good deal, except the turntable needs some work.
bought some records
bought new work pants ala savers
endured many kitten injuries (ouch!)
made breakfast from goodies purchased at centyrz's or however that's spelled
went to breakfast at mayslacks (should have made the bloody mary's at home)
drank some champagne
went to pick up wedding ring, and gave it back because it looked a little too... metallic? it looked like a washer really, just too high off my finger. so they're fixing that up for me. Kyle ordered his too, hopefully they will both look nice in the long run.
went to macys, target and williams sonoma to update our registries. I think we have way too much expensive stuff on there, and there are certainly duplicates. i hope to fix this before invites are sent out
glued the wording page onto the background claret colored page, soon to be glued to the actualy pocketfold. booooring.
looked more into kyle's wedding gift... should be able to get that hammered out within the month
spent time with my poor neglected kittens.
went to target to buy kitten chow, litterbox deodorisor, a candle and plug for the tub (subsequently took a bath to relax) and a new toy for rosie... (which she has already partially dismembered).
went to kyle's company picnic (this also happens to be my company picnic, but different stores) ate a ton of famous daves and got attacked by 5 boys all ages 4 and under (description: Terrifying).
cleaned out the 3rd bedroom a bit... now two people can actually comfortably fit in it. luckily we registered for a bookshelf, hopefully someone will get us so we can put the 10 boxes of books on shelves instead of in boxes
did laundry
went for a walk
made fresh mozzerella at home
made pizzas with fresh mozzerella on them
got stuck in the rain and instantly drenched
thought i locked myself out of the house while being drenched
threw away a dead crow that was lying in our backyard. I'm pretty sure he died of a broken neck and not avian bird flu.
found a bat in the basement. i think it's dead too, but i also think the cool humidity has preserved it. there is a spiders web on it.
I'm not touching that thing.
no way in hell.
come to think of it, i didn't touch the crow either. kyle used the shovel in the basement, and it's now lying in the trashcan in a trader joe's bag. ick.
back to the grind of laundry. bleh
