24 hour flu accompanied by a cold

That is what I've decided the major illness i started suffering on Thursday is.  I woke up at 4am with a terrible sore throat (i woke up at 4am because I had to work at 5am, not because of the soreness of the throat).  anything sore in your mouth or throat is totally incapacitating.  I went to work, and had to repeat myself every time i spoke because people are used to loud Kate, not mousy timid voice Kate.  That was frustrating.  It all went down hill from there.  I couldn't eat anything, and could barely convince myself to drink chicken broth and tea.  i left about an hour and 1/2 early only to go home and have some major body aches, chills, and don't forget about that evil sore throat.  around 9:30pm that night, my chills finally went away, and i could swallow again.  Yesterday i felt better for the most part, taking advil and dayquil to keep me going.  This morning, I've been coughing up stuff that only smokers deserve to cough up.  Ick.

At least i am suffering this ill fate now, and now in 3 weeks.  holy crap.
