When I came back from walking pups today, I saw a slip in my box for packages. I got excited as I've been waiting on a few. I wondered which it would be...much to my surprise, there were 4 packages waiting for me! One of them contained some new shoes...all for me!
I'm so excited about them, I just can't stand it. I've not always been a fashionable person and I've only really started to get into a lot of trends that have been around for awhile. One thing I've always liked are boots, but I've also known that they can be stupidly expensive. I've lusted after many a pair, but either don't have the guts or money to buy them. That was until my roommate introduced me to CutesyGirl. Everything was cheap, so how could I resist? I don't mean they were $40 cheap. I mean $25 or less cheap!! Plus they have tons of sales all the time.
I thought it was a slight risk thinking they might not be great quality or look crap, but when they arrived I was pleasantly surprised. Lookie!!! And yes, that's a pair of purple suede boots in the bottom corner :) :)

This morning as I braved the morning traffic, I found myself behind a truck. Suddenly, I panicked thinking "Shit, they've got something about to fall off their truck". But then I took a second look, everything was normal and what was hanging there was really none other than a pair of steel balls.
I only wish my reflex to grab my camera had been faster. I even thought about tailing him until I could snap a pic of his balls, but then I thought that might be inappropriate.

Too bad it didn’t get past the early 1960’s. I also loved a whole chapter dedicated to these mysterious Canadians. It's been 3 months since I started my daily photo blog and since I can barely keep up with all my different online efforts, I hardly expect you too (unless we're FB friends and I subject you to the updates on a daily basis). So I thought I'd do a wee recap and share some of my best snaps from the past 3 months. I'm actually quite proud of myself!

My first job was working as a make-up artist in my mom's cosmetic shop, which was located in "the dead mall" across the street from the mega-mall, where everyone respectable went to shop. The only folks who ventured into the dead mall were those with bizarre fetishes they wanted to try out in "public" without actually being too far out into the public sphere. My four hour shift was often punctuated with high school principals and construction workers in drag, trying out the new high heels they just scored at Payless; a 60 yr. old woman dressed as a naughty school girl being led around on a leash by her husband; your occasional flasher; foot fetish guy who would creepily make me show him the colors of "toenail" polish we carried and on & on...
Anyway, it appears that Vox is now the dead mall. Of course, I'm sure there are still many "respectable" folks on here...but more so, there are a lot just letting their freak flag fly. And I love it. You are my people and I'm happy to be back. But don't send me pictures of your penis. Thanks.
I just bought two tickets for a New Years Eve partay in the city. Ticket #2 goes to the one and only T! It's going to be held in a museum downtown and there are DJs, open bars, the works! It'll be my first time going to an actual party for New Years Eve, so I'm quite excited and that's why I've already started dress shopping.
I was naturally perusing my favorite site, ModCloth, and I came across 2 dresses. Both I love for different reasons; however, I'll keep my opinions to myself as I don't want to influence the votes. I used this handy little website called Polyvore to potentially mock up the two outfits. See?

A few notes that might interest you...
- The shoe in the middle is a similar style to a pair I already own. It's an alternative to the classic black pump.
- I would likely wear a black necklace of sorts with the white dress - I just couldn't find one I liked.
- The tights are fishnet, but if I found something more fun/intriguing then I'd go with that. It would definitely have pattern.
